Cirque Du Hilarious

Last Sunday the 27th July,  mine and Daddy's Anniversary just to point that out. We went to Blackpool to watch Cirque Du Hilarious, Luckily Mummy M Memories had been the Monday before and told me where it was and not to walk down to the bottom of the pier unless we wanted to, they were right at the front next to the amusements on the right hand side as you look at the pier, and about 2 hours before the show some of the ladies dressed up were outside handing leaflets out all about the show.

Due to the very hot weather and the amount of energy they used in the shows, they had to cancel the 1pm showing and only have the 3.30 showing, that might off changed now they are at the Blackpool until the end off August except from Fridays when they are at butlins.

Selfies on the way to Blackpool and S asleep which I was glad about meaning hopefully she would be in a good mood when it came to the show.

We got to Blackpool slightly early around 1.30/2ish.  we parked where Mummy M Memories recommend which was near the football ground it was £7 to park for 12 hours and the best part it took card which made it that much easier because I never carry cash on me.

We decided to go and get the tickets first so walked to the pier, the girls loved seeing the horse and carriages and a couple of times they asked if they could have a go you can guess the answer, we found the amusements and me being blind didn't see the ticket office right at the front walked all the way around the amusements then to ask someone who pointed it out to me, picked the tickets up, and walked over to the sea and saw that the tide was totally in.

We sat down while Daddy searched for a fish and chip shop, we are a family who goes on reviews especially when we don't know the area very well, K2 suggestion was donuts and candy floss for lunch.

while we were waiting for Daddy I took photos of the girls as I do.

Daddy found a fish and chip shop which was across the road and to the left which was fantastic, really sorry I can not remember the name of the fish and chip shop, but it was nice food.

I went up ordered the food and while we were waiting I took more photos of the girls,
S was in a trance, and no K1 isn't stealing some of S drink it just looks that way

The food soon came, the girls ate a lot, it was soon time to go, we had half an hour to wait until the doors opened at 3pm so we decided to go to the sea saying it was out again, S doesn't do sand (if you notice in my other blog when we go a beach Daddy is holding her) so the girls messed around and had fun, it was soon time to go in, we went through the red doors and up the stairs all the staff were so friendly, there was a bar so we could get refreshments and it was OK prices.

while we waited S took selfies these are not the best pictures S likes pushing buttons so just kept pushing the button these were the better two.

Then the show started, S wasn't to sure and kept staring

This was a different type of cirque it was magic, slapstick comedy and musical the older two absolutely loved it but S soon got scared of monkeys and loud bangs.

I didn't take many photos, I was to busy laughing and me and Daddy were trying to keep S from screaming. (constant cuddles, sitting on the chair between us and more cuddles)

Beware you will get slightly wet, a lot wet if you sit at the front.

They are all the photos I took, It was so funny really funny for 90 Minutes with a 10 minute interval they don't stop at all.  A family ticket is £26, an adult £10 and a child £8 you can also book tickets here they are only at the pier till the 31st August so quick if you want to see them.

K2 wants to watch them again, so will be looking out for some more shows they do.

*disclaimer we were given complementary family tickets in return for an honest review, all the words and photos are my own*

Name Tags 4 U

As a mum it came across my mind I will have to label all the new uniform that I was getting over the Summer holidays, and as I can't sew it was stickers all the way, So I searched on the internet and  the first one that came up was Nametag.it.co.uk so I ordered some labels for all three of them.

It said on their website to like them on facebook and twitter which I did, and I came across on twitter they were looking for bloggers to review their products, so I messaged them and said I have just ordered some stickers from yourself, so through email we got talking and they said they would send me a stamp for free with a smiley face to review for them along with the stickers, they also let me know that the stamp wouldn't work on black clothing, which was fine.

They all arrived really quickly within a couple of days, so over the last couple of days I have managed to use them especially with K1 going camping.  I might of gone a bit over board with the stamping and labeling.

The stamp, got to love the smiley face

I thought this was a brilliant Idea with the stamp their is a slide button on it to lock the stamp just in case little people get there hands on it

Not all the stickers and as you can see might need to order some more

The only item of clothing I had trouble with the stamp with a fleecy jumper but worked fine on the collar.

the fleecy jumper before it got washed, I did try different things with this, it just doesn't like fleece, but as said was fine with the collar, picture below with the stamp being used on the collar, and you still see the stamp on the fleecy bit.

This is where I went a bit crazy

I also ordered some shoe label protectors as they are called, you put them over top of the label to use in shoes or anything that can get wet, so I have put it on K1 water bottle and bag because of course it is raining

Here is some of the other items I went stamp happy on.

yes that is a pillow case

yes I also stamped her slipper socks both pairs

As you can see I have also used this on her rain coat and I got some water on it and it didn't run it was fantastic.

The only things I needed to label other then the water bottle and ruck sack which has 4 labels on it in different sections.   As you can see you can label anything or stamp it.

I will be reordering from Nametag.it.co.uk and will be getting a refill for the stamp.

Thanks for reading.

*Disclaimer I brought the labels and got given the stamp for free to give my own opinion on these products*

Our Day

Last Wednesday the 23rd was the last day of term for the older two, so I made the most of it with S.
I decided to do something crafty with S, which I don't usually do, well painting wise.  I had spoken to the lovely Jenny from Jenny Wrens and asked if I could take photos and blog about our morning there and she was thrilled.
So first things first we dropped Daddy off at work and then the older two at school, we then drove to Stockton Heath.  S was thrilled when we arrived, we sat down and I found the Smaller, cheaper items to paint and gave S the choice of what she wanted to paint, she chose a pig.  Jenny got us the paint, paint brushes and the pallet, S thought the pallet was to put the pig on, she soon got stuck in with the painting.

I really couldn't believe how much fun she was having, we have never done anything like this, don't get me wrong we have done other crafty things but she was having a whale of a time, I was so thrilled.

The play section was so fantastic toys for all different ages. I loved the tree.

It took a while to convince S to paint the rest of the pig

As long as I held it for her she would paint the rest of it.

In between painting the Pig S went off and played, giving me the chance to look round the cafe and I saw this sign I thought it was brilliant, "All unsupervised Children will be given Espresso"

S came back and painted a bit more of her pig

The dolls she found had to come to the table as well, she would not leave these dolls alone while we were there

Some of the other products they sell

S got thirsty so got a drink and was waiting for Jenny to serve another customer to let her know that she had got another drink

She just starred at Jenny

But soon came back to play with the dolls

It was so chilled and relaxed and Jenny Wren's we didn't feel that we had to hurry up and leave; we were there until gone 12 from 9ish.
You can see in these pictures where most of the paint went

S playing and reading books

The other side of the play section

Painting a bit more

Time for the coat and mask

As you can see by the Pigs tail she put a lot of paint on it

I convinced S to stop painting the pig, so it now had a mask a coat and mud on its nose

But to convince her to stop painting I said she could pick another animal to paint so she picked a Cat

love this photo
I could have taken thousands more photos of S doing the Same but I restrained myself. With the Cat I did help a lot more as you can see.  S was now getting fed up, tired and hungry (I did buy her a snack), so while S went off and played I added the finishes touches to both, Jenny did do the date and S name on the cat.

I have already decided I am going to make another visit very soon, even if you don't paint and you just want a drink and your kids can play even if you haven't got kids, there was so many people buying a coffee and sitting outside to chill.
Jenny has done a fantastic job with the cafe since she took it over and I wish her all the best in the future with it
